Dazed and confused by Richard Linklater's film truly remarkable. The film is part of the story before the age of the best that we have seen - equipped with a collection great of actors, great performances famous, and one of the songs, listening to endless most of us have heard - and it still remains fresh like and entertainment forever. It's a feature that does not really need a sequel, "spiritual" or otherwise - but somehow everyone Linklater wants some !! - Which just premiered at the Cannes Film Festival SXSW - still feels like we eagerly anticipate the last 23 years.
Set in the fall of 1980 - the provision of a film taste different clearer than its predecessor, while an atmosphere similar - centers the story on science college, Jake (Blake had musicians Jenner building) you play baseball one who arrived at the school, Texas-based and immediately found himself mixed in with a group of guys that ridiculous will be a teammate and a roommate of his. In the days leading up to the first round of classes, Jake quickly assimilates with a tight group of men close, closer than girls, drinking, smoking weed and playing. Instead of playing as more of a "three days in the life" story - - There was high or structural script strictly speaking, but with an ensemble collection of characters fun and as a concentrated mass of a set of ridiculously amazing and situations, it hung together with the larger of the film a bit.
Because of the loose way in which it was put together, grateful for everybody wants some !! Almost completely stuck on the feeling of the audience about hanging out with a group of players, baseball in college in the middle of its own - but this is far from difficult, as you gain an appreciation urgently for specific brands of their of rambunctiousness from the opening (involving ceiling nearly collapsed under the weight of a waterbed new filled one). It's a chunk of a large order to follow - With more than 10 characters, which played a major part in the narrative - but it made manageable, just because there is a difference wide range of personalities, weird and wonderful things that have been thrown into the mix - including competition concern McReynolds (Tyler has Hoechlin); Border Crazy Jay Niles (Juston Street); The bad gamble Nesbitt (Austin Amelio); Pothead epic Willoughby (Wyatt Russell) and Billy Autrey Southern fried (Will Brittain). Moreover, they have a person stand out but just as dazed and confused, a simple pleasure legitimate rambunctiousness of youth, as they always find a situation ripe for antics and shenanigans.
Ultimately, it was the setting for the film that gives it legitimacy, "spiritual sequel", and just like how Richard Linklater perfectly encapsulated 1970 with dazed and confused, everybody wants some !! Is a journey back in time, great 1980s aesthetics went all are on point, a wonderful haircut wings lot to bar different and nightclubs ensemble like that, but, again, Linklater's joint placed movie fans tracks - will be the sounds for decades. With songs from Van Halen (naturally), Sugar Mountain arrested Knack, strangers, and even versions of the song Island Gilligan's, there's an incredible mix of songs diegetic and non-diegetic that actor / Writer, the director uses brilliantly to create an atmosphere specific and unique.
During the past two decades and a half since the dazed and confused was released, Richard Linklater has ventured into a wide variety of different types and styles to see, but everyone wants some !! The production has confirmed that some of them could go home again. Like his 1993 film, this movie is a celebration of the fun and freedom of youth, and it's simple to capture the spirit that makes it successful.
